Finding the IP Address of your server

1. If you ever have the need to know your IP address, here is how you can find it. In windows, click Start and choose Run. On shared hosting, IP addresses are shared.

2. Type CMD and click OK. (Windows Me, 98, or 95 users need to type COMMAND instead)

3. In the Dos Screen, type: ping yourdomainnname.com. Press Enter. You will see a series of numbers in brackets. These numbers are your IP address. Type Exit and press enter to close the Dos Screen.
